Reacting on news about the removal of Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo form his plum powerful Parliamentary position last Tuesday May 4, Havi stated that such a decision was mis-informed and the most shocking in the history of political parties.

Havi added that touching the caliber of Otiende Amollo, one of the brightest legal minds so far in the country, was suicidal for Mr. Odinga.

“ODM Party has completed self-annihilation in the National Assembly with the recall of Otiende Amollo from JLAC. In Senate, Orengo is the target. With John Mbadi and Mohamed Junet as his illegal advisers, Raila has committed an apocalyptic political error.” Havi wrote adding that “its now done for baba”.

ODM Minority Party leader John Mbadi announced that TJ Kajwang would be taking Otiende’s position so as to steer the aspirations of the party ahead.

Kenyans, on the other hand, have continued commending to the move made by Raila’s party terming it the most unfortunate in the democracy of political parties.

“Regrettable move by ODM, but you are exaggerating it. Otiende is not being expelled from ODM, he’s just being reassigned to another Committee, probably PAC to replace TJ, so his legal mind will still be useful.” Okoth noted on Twitter.

The removal of MP Otiende now signals towards the possibility of ODM Party fielding someone else in Rarieda Constituency in 2022.

Raila Odinga is yet to comment of the matter upto now and next on the chopping board could be Senator James Orengo due to his firm stand on the BBI.
