Monday, May 10, 2021 -Siaya County Senator James Orengo has claimed that there are a section of people who are busy misleading Raila Odinga.

Senator James Orengo, Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo and now Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya have teamed up against Odinga for not heeding to their advice warning should this attitude continue, soon they will be vindicated.

Amid cracks on their ODM Party, the three are said to have met in Kakamega County at Oparanya’s Butere rural home where they held a closed door meeting that lasted for hours.

The Daily Nation issue of Monday May 10 reported that Mr. Orengo and MP Amollo took a chopper ride to Butere – Oparanya’s village – where they joined him in a church service.

In the service, the three took issue with a section of ODM top brass whom they claimed are not telling Mr. Odinga the truth. They cautioned the former premier against such people who are keen to driving him away from power.

They would then proceed to Mabole in the compound of Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya where they took lunch and spent hours discussing politics.

“We are in ODM by faith and Mr Odinga is our unequivocal leader. However, we won’t allow a few people to deceive him,” stated Otiende Amollo.

Reports also show that the trio are not happy with the newly introduced 70 constituencies which they claim is a burden to the already burdened Kenyans.

After Amollo was recently removed from the powerful Justice and legal Affairs Committee where he was the deputy Chair, Rumour had it that the next target would be Orengo. This however was quickly refuted by Odinga’s spokesperson Dennis Onyango.
