Senior political analyst Herman Manyora today Saturday June 5 detailed how the MP  is almost crossing to the other side; and that the DP must be ready to accept this looming challenge.

Through his weekly segment dubbed Take it or Leave It, Manyora claimed that Kuria was not in Tangatanga to stay and through his increasing popularity on the ground around Mt. Kenya, he is the best man to become Raila Odinga’s point-man in  2022.

Relating this to the Obama and Moi case, the analyst said leaders are usually brought around by accident; Obama became Illinois leader by accident same to Moi when he became the most unlikely President after Mzee Jomo Kenyatta had left. He divulged that Moi did not, in the first place, want to become Kenyatta’s Vice President until Minister Moses Mudavadi persuaded him to take the role.

And today, Kuria is quickly becoming an intrinsically Uhuru’s successor in Mt. Kenya and who is probably joining Raila.

“He is the only outstanding and undisputed GEMA king who reasons together with his people around Mt. Kenya,” he said.

Manyora poured cold water on all Mt. Kenya governors saying they don’t have any clue on how to take their people to the right direction.

Recounting the Kitui BBI rally, Prof Manyora stated that it was difficult for the show to go on without Kuria addressing. It even turned chaotic because he is naturally popular.

The analyst went on to break it down even more saying Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua is a political novice in the region who is yet to claim ground while Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru is only relying on gender card what might not her very far.

And to demystify the myth that Odinga is a hard sell in Central Region, the scholar argued that every president from Mt. Kenya has worked with someone from Nyanza and this may still go on undisputed.
