ODM politician speaks about Harriet Akunava’s HIV list

Kibra based politician Dr. Owiti Owayo who is also close to ODM party leader Raila Odinga has expressed reservations on his own health after an HIV positive lady recently listed his name on people who had an affair with her.

In the 29 member list, Owiti found himself there at number 9 and despite having initially rubbished the claims, he has come out to say that he will be taking medical tests soon.

He had started by distancing himself from the claims saying they were fiction but now it seems he is coming back to his senses as time goes by.

After the list went viral, he initially reacted saying had never had an affair with the Akunava Harriet and that the claims by the lady were politically motivated.

“Though I’m still swimming in the deep sea of immaculacy, I shall seek to know my HIV status on Friday 21st August, 2020. Maybe I got it through other means and not through Harriet’s “honey pot”. It will be live on this page. I hope you will share the result whether negative or positive,” Dr. Owiti Owayo said through his Facebook page.

Kenyans have however come out to advise him not to take chances when his name was clear on the list.

“Next utatoa manguo uanze kutembea uchi, you’re almost running mad because of your idle mind…we pray for you that one day you might gain your senses back,” Ohuru Collins.

Another user asked him to start using Antivirals immediately and stop posting things on social media whch may not help save his life.

“You got it from that borehole, Harriet’s…. please never miss the prescriptions…..longer life,”  Samuel Obiero.

Harriet through, a recorded tape, gave a damning self-confession on how she had infected so many men with HIV AIDS and asked them to make sure they are tested.

She confessed that men who asked her out all never used any protection.
