Kakamega homosexuals to appear in court on Monday

Two men who were arrested while having an affair in Kakamega County will be arraigned in court on Monday once the probe in over.

The police, acting on a tip off on Friday August 21, busted the two young men Gilbert Wanyeso, a resident of Angwete and Caleb Andani who were busy getting intimate in a room located at Shikhambi Area outskirts of Kakamega town .

Nyumba Kumi elder Reuben Otiende said one of the suspect is believed to have been behind many defilement cases in the area.

Police are reported to have stormed the house of the suspect and found him in the company of another young man.

When the neighbours browsed through the phone of the house owner, they found that he had been luring boys for sex.

Villagers who wanted to lynch the two were contained by police who rushed in to save the escalating situation.

Confirming the incident, Kakamega OCPD David Kabena promised to oversee their prosecution once done with investigations.
