Ruto Fires Back at Raila, Describes him as a Problem to Development

In his charged up direct response to Odinga’s Shimo la Tewa remarks for all the corrupt individuals, Ruto today Sunday July 4, while attending a service at Presbyterian Church of East Africa PCEA in Umoja Embakasi West Nairobi, described Mr. Odinga as a man who has never had any clean development record all through his political career.

He mentioned how Jubilee development plans crashed down the moment the ODM Party leader shook hands with Mr. Kenyatta.

“You need to apologize to us and you need to be ashamed of yourselves… The President out of abundance of heart welcomed you to government and you came and disrupted the Big 4 agenda; it would have given jobs to plumbers, masons and you took us to a constitutional change,” the DP stated.

Ruto also reminded Odinga of the days he was in government as a prime minister where Kazi kwa Vijana millions got lost under his watch saying it is now high time he(Raila) should be held responsible for such economic ills until he publicly apologizes to the nation.

He also asked Mr. Odinga to stop talking about other peoples’ wealth since no Kenyan had complained about the help they were getting from him(Ruto).

The back and forth between Raila and Ruto escalated when Mr. Odinga – on his recent tour at the Coast – warned all the corrupt individuals that life ahead will be so tough when he takes power. Raila stated that his first 100 days in office will purely focus on recovering all the plundered resources.

“You hear someone chest-thumping about what they have done, that we have built this and that. As him where he took the extra money? He wants to do harambees for women groups and youth groups with cash stuffed in sacks. He goes to church. Then they say he respects God. But he is coming with your money… He is buying you with stolen money.

“Where does he get the millions from? No one questions where this money is from. These are thieves who should be in Shimo la Tewa but they are walking all over in helicopters… when we get in government, we will jail all these people,” Odinga added.

As stage for next campaigns is getting nigh, Raila and DP William Ruto seem to be the domineering factors who have decided to start setting the tempo thrpugh early claws.
