Friday, July 23, 2021 -Locals have rescued a 23 year old lady who wanted to plunge to her death in Nandi County
According to Tv 47, the student who was rescued by passersby at Chepkit falls wanted to jump to her death before she was saved out.
Talking to the media, she told the locals that she actually wanted to kill-self after her boyfriend dumped her for another girl.
“I don’t want to live because I am being mistreated,” she said.
This suicide incident is coming just days after cases of suicide in colleges have reportedly been on the rise in the country.
“Don’t Kill yourself, dear. I’m your age mate and my boyfriend left me also and told me that am not of his type. You also need a good guy. Move on with your life too,” Christine Mbogo said as quoted in Dundapost.com.
She was then taken to police for help.
