Saturday, July 31, 2021 -Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka now wants Raila Odinga to join him as his running mate ahead of 2022 general elections.
On Friday July 30, the Wiper Party boss Mr. Musyoka asked the former Premier to lead his troupes into Wiper Party so that they can beat William Ruto who seems to be the biggest threat in the 2022 race.
Kalonzo who was addressing supporters at Akamba Handcraft in Changamwe noted that he is still willing to work with the Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party boss only if he agrees to play second fiddle to him.
“What I am saying is that there is no political debt but I want him to use his wisdom and join me as my running mate and move this country forward,” Kalonzo observed.
He reiterated the need to front a different candidate this time around if they wanted to win the next polls saying doing the same thing the same way every year will never give a different result.
He argued that it lacks logic to expect him to support Odinga after ten years of support he had given him.
“I welcome my big brother Odinga who I have supported immensely in his political career for more than a decade,” Kalonzo added.
And speaking about their One Kneya Alliance, Kalonzo was categorical that he could still work with them but on a scaled up terms different from the one in NASA.
The Wiper Party brigade is pitching camp at the Coast for three days drumming up support for the Wiper Party ahead of 2022 elections.
