Suicidal driver die after ramming a stationary truck in Nairobi

A driver who was driving a white saloon car Registration Number KBB 364F died on the spot after ramming a stationary lorry along Southern Bypass in Nairobi.

An eyewitness who spoke to Homenews.co.ke news desk explained that the suicidal middle aged driver who was on high speed lost control of his car hitting the truck which was parked on its rightful side of the road.

“We tried to run and save the driver who was alone inside the vehicle, however it took the efforts from members of the public and motorists who stopped at the scene to save him from the wreck,” the witness recounted.

The accident led to a heavy traffic snarl up with police on patrol having a difficult time controlling the surging crowd that wanted to also have a view of the horrific incident.

Police confirmed to this news site that the driver instantly lost life in his wrecked saloon car which was towed to police station as his body transported to nearby Chiromo Hospital Mortuary.

Disturbing photos from the accident scene emerged showing a sad tale of a fatal accident that arose from carelessness and speeding on the side of the car driver.

Elsewhere in Nairobi city, a local daily also reported a fatal accident which occurred afew hours ago claiming several lives on the spot.
