Tuesday, August 10, 2021 -Ganze Member of Parliament Teddy Mwambire is the new Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party Chairman, Kilifi.

Insiders have linked his unceremonious ouster from the post to the ongoing Regional clamor for political parties. He has also been flip flopping from ODM to UDA oflate what seems to have angered ODM Party top brass.

Word has it that Mr. Kingi is on the forefront planning to come up with a regional outfit already named Coastal Integrated Development that will comprise five parties. This makes the main reason ODM Party has expelled him so that he can pursue his personal ambitions.

Kingi has been gaining popularity around the Coast with a section of ODM officials led by Kilifi’s Justine Baya now jostling for a space in his new formation.

“We don’t want the party to be dormant because of poor leadership. That’s why we’ve resolved to form an interim committee to oversee the party’s affairs,” Baya stated.

Though still not yet confirmed as true, sources have reported that two new political parties have already been registered in the Region ready to join Kingi’s CID.

Among the rumoured new entrants are – Pamoja Alliance (PAA) and Kenya Democracy for Change (KDC), which were given their provisional certificates last month July.
