Wednesday, August 11, 2021 -Office of Director of Public Prosecution has asked Deputy Chief Justice to step aside because she has committed ‘unbelievable’ crimes while in office.
The ODPP under Noordin Haji has told the court how they have a heavy dossier on DCJ Philomena Mwilu which will stun the nation once dropped.
Addressing the court on Tuesday August 10, Alexander Muteti who is Haji’s senior assistant promised to unleash the expose’ that everyone will be shocked at. He went ahead to support the four petitions seeking to remove Ms Mwilu from office.
“The first interested party has not disclosed the entire dossier against the petitioner,” Alexander Muteti, told the court.
In the dirty revelations, the Judicial Service Commission JSC led by new Chief Justice CJ Martha Koome – Mwilu’s boss, also confirmed that there was enough evidence to prove that Mwilu reportedly transacted a whopping sh 20 million at Supreme Court parking lot, her office building and then at her Kilimani home.
JSC also threatened to name to the High Court her involvement with a criminal suspect for other deals.
“Due to the overriding public interest of having any cloud as to judicial integrity resolved promptly, the JSC takes very seriously its responsibility of quickly and fairly resolving petitions for the removal of judges and complaints against judicial officers,” JSC lawyer, Charles Kanjama, stated.
To proactive her further wrong, it also emerged that the Supreme Court Judge had until today never bothered to reply to all the allegations leveled against her despite their weight.
In Lawyer Kanjama’s own words, what Mwilu instead chose to do was to walk to court to bar JSC from hearing the petitions to their full conclusion.
