Thursday, August 19, 2021 -Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri has described some individuals in United Democratic Alliance Party as ‘crooks’ who might distabilise the party.
Advising their boss William Ruto on how to handle those who don’t want to fold their parties so as to fully join the UDA, Ngunjiri revealed that the essence of having members from different parties was purely for security reasons just incase problems starts surfacing in UDA.
He reasoned that it was not proper to fight the likes of Gatundu MP Moses Kuria and former Agriculture Minister Mwangi Kiunjuri in an effort to force them to throw away their fall back parties for UDA. He also defended Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua.
Ngunjiri opined that the fall back political parties should never be disbanded because they are always an alternative whenever things start going south like it has happened in Jubilee Party.
He went on to reveal that there are signs of crooks in the UDA Party and incase he falls out with some, his new landing spot would be Kuria’s Party or any other.
“I want to tell Moses Kuria and his counterparts, Kiunjuri and Karua not to dissolve their parties. At the end of the day, Kenyans will not vote for a party, they will vote for a person’s agenda,” Ngunjiri remarked.
“If the ‘crooks’ in UDA lock me out, I will go to Kuria’s Chama Cha Kazi. We should not tell them to dissolve their parties. People know the importance of a window once a door is locked,” the MP opined.
He was speaking this on Wednesday August 18 in Nakuru just a day after Deputy President William Ruto warned them against having tribal parties within his UDA outfit.
