In a documented report, the DCI reported that the recruit constable was not happy when their squad leader at the country’s premier police training college asked him to pick a litter.
“Trouble started for the conscript after he failed to collect litter as instructed by his squad leader,” the report read in part.
He immediately got troubled at that moment; what triggered him to launch an attack to the trainer.
“A brief argument ensued before the suspect reached for the crucial course man’s implement used in clearing long grass and inflicted an injury on the squad leader’s head,” read the statement also.
The injured training master was immediately rushed to the college dispensary where he was attended to before being discharged in a stable condition.
