Monday, November 6, 2023 –Interior Ministry has announced next Monday November 13 a public holiday.
Interior Cabinet Secretary CS Kithure Kindiki made the declaration on Monday November 6 following a verdict reached at during their latest cabinet meeting held in Mombasa.
“Following the decision of the Cabinet sitting in Mombasa on Friday November 3, 2023, the Government has declared a special holiday on Monday, November 13, 2023,” he announced.
He added that, during which, the public across the country will be expected to plant trees as a patriotic contribution to the national efforts to save the environment from the devastating effects of Climate Change.
