Sunday, November 14, 2021 –Amani National Congress ANC Party has planned to walk out of their One Kenya Alliance OKA if the rest of the candidates in the alliance will not back Musalia Mudavadi for top position.
Politicians allied to Mudavadi spoke this while addressing residents of Matunda in Kakamega County on Saturday November 13. Among those who raised their voices are Senator Cleophas Malala and Butere Member of Parliament Tindi Mwale.
They demanded that a clarity is made from the side of their partners so that they can come up with one presidential candidate and who, in any case, mus be Musalia Mudavadi.
They said by this Christmas, Musalia Mudavadi should have been named the flagbearer of their coalition or they will pack and start to chant their on way since time was moving very fast.
“We are telling our colleagues at the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) that that we want to know the presidential candidate of the coalition by December 25.
“If we won’t have known the presidential candidate who we know is Musalia Mudavadi, then we, as ANC, will decide to leave and form another alliance to deliver the presidency for Musalia Mudavadi in 2022,” stated Butere MP Tindi Mwale.
Lurambi ANC Member of Parliament Titus Khamala also added weight saying Musalia must be the key factor in their alliance since he is the most credible.
“We, in ANC, do not want Musalia to be sent packing. We do not want the One Kenya Alliance to be the Coalition through which Musalia is sent packing indefinitely. We want to know our candidate immediately,” stated Khamala.
One Kenya Alliance OKA has four principals Musalia Mudavadi(ANC Party), Kalonzo Musyoka(Wiper), Gideon Moi(KANU) and Moses Wetang’ula of Ford Kenya.
