Tuesday, November 15, 2022 –Another top journalist at the Standard Group Media House, Dr. Mercy Korir, has left for greener pastures. A Source has revealed.
The journalist who has been at the media station for not less than five years finally penned down her resignation letter amid increased measures by the management to contain the exodus of staff from the once giant station in the country.
Korir, a medic by profession, is leaving the station alongside news anchor Sharon Momanyi and seasoned Foreign Affairs Editor, Lilian Odera.

Using her qualifications in medical industry as well as her experience in communication, she is expected to increase AAR visibility around the country.
“As the Hospital’s Business Development Manager, Dr Korir will oversee the hospital’s external communication and brand positioning, establish new business lines and new revenue streams.
“Specifically, she will be responsible for developing strategic Business Development, Public Relations, and Corporate Social Responsibility plans for the hospital to attract potential clients and retain existing ones,” a statement from her new employer read in part.

Our investigations also found out that Ms Lilian Odera may end up running her new-found communication firm dubbed Lisha Communications.
