Friday, September 6, 2024 – Kebaso Morara has broken silence on abductions in the country saying the current administration has abducted so many young men.
Taking issue with the remarks made by President William Ruto in Kisumu that there has never been a single report of abduction, Morara told the president that he(Ruto) is wrong on this when several families have come out to demand for justice on their lost sons and daughters.
Morara who was speaking for the first time atop his newly-acquired Prado and PA system which he mounted today Friday September 6, noted that the police under instructions ‘from above’ have abducted and murdered so many souls using the guns bought by tax payers.
“Even if he has shot young men. These bullets are bought by Kenyans and should be used secure the country not to kill citizens.
“We also pay the police and Ruto should not use the bullets and the police to kill the children of this country”.
He accused Ruto for shamelessly appearing on Tv and claiming that no one had been abducted by the police officers in as far as he is concerned.
In the last Kisumu Town Hall meeting, President William Ruto told the attendants that he has not recorded any case of abduction since the Gen Z protests erupted.
He challenged any member of the public who has a name to present it to him so that he can take the required steps decisively.
However, in a reply, several Human Rights agencies in the country rushed to the courts to demand answers from the police and the DCI over the lost Kenyans.
Among those lost and still not yet to be found are the three Kitengela brothers who were abducted by men believed to be police officers, three weeks back.
