Tuesday, February 13, 2024 –Former Citizen Tv need anchor Jacque Maribe has been taken back to court over Monicah Kimani.
In an appeal filed today by the Office of Public Prosecutor, it is argued that the court made a ruling error on Maribe and that this has to be reviewed.
ODPP has, therefore, stated in the notice that it was dissatified with what the judge had ruled.
“Take notice that the Republic, the intended Appellant herein, being dissatisfied with the decision of the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi (Hon. G. Nzioka), delivered in Nairobi on February 9, 2024, appeals to the Court of Appeal against the part of the judgment acquitting the 2nd Accused Person,” the notice read in part.
Maribe had been sued together with Jowie Irungu in the murder of businesslady, Monicah Kimani.
