Ask Uhuru about Jubilee not me, Ruto tells Raila

Monday, January 25, 2021 -Deputy President William Ruto has asked Mr. Raila Odinga to blame President Uhuru Kenyatta for the ‘false promises’ the Jubilee administration made.

Ruto in a sharp U-turn has now come out with the outrageous claims in direct response to Raila’s continuous attacks on the performance of Jubilee Government.

Raila has of late been faulting Deputy President William Ruto for his endless false promises to Kenyans every time he wants power what Ruto has now turned around to claim Odinga was indirectly disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta for obvious reasons.

“Kama uko na shida na performance ya serikali ya Jubilee, tafuta Uhuru Kenyatta kwa simu ama umtembelee ofisini umwambie kwamba iko shida na performance ya serikali ya Jubilee. Wacha kiburi na madharau ya kuja kumzungumzia rais kwa rally,” Ruto said.

Ruto was saying this despite having on several occasions claimed that the performance of Government was a collective responsibility for both Kenyatta and himself.

“The fact that I am elected deputy president means that, if things go wrong in this government, President Uhuru Kenyatta and I will be the ones to be asked,” he said in his April 2019 interview at Citizen Tv.

Ruto and Odinga, in a high tempo engagement, have of recent been verbally attacking each other over performance of the current government.

Ruto while in Dagoretti South over the weekend responded to Mr. Odinga’s claims by saying Jubilee administration had done a lot than any other government in the country.

“Namwambia bwana kitendawili, wacha siasa duni my friend, wacha siasa ya pesa nane. Performance ya serikali ya Jubilee ya Uhuru na Ruto haiwezi kulinganishwa na ile miaka yote wewe umekuwa serikalini. It cannot match, you have nothing to show except ile mambo ya kupiganisha watu na kuzunguka na fitina,” stated DP Ruto.

Political temperatures in the country have already gone up just 18 months to the general elections to be held 2022.
