Wednesday, May 4, 2022 –A once popular and loved Kenyan songbird Avril born Judith Nyambura Mwangi is struggling musically.

Avril who went for motherhood stage a few years ago is trying to make a comeback without much success if the views on her new song is anything to go by.

For instance, last week the Chokoza hitmaker released a new love song dubbed Danger in which she is featuring a new entertainment entrant by the stage name Brandy Maina but the results are not so good.

One of her longtime fans who also happens to be a fashion designer, Nimrod, made a mockery post on the new track saying the artiste used a wrong release strategy and that’s why its views are not so good to look at owing to the fact Avril has been at the top of her career for almost a decade before she went into maternity leave.

But in a quick response, angry Avril told the user that her works will be appreciated when she dies since that is how Kenyans behave.

“Don’t worry when I die, the songs I have done over time will trend at least for a while, may be even get love. Never worry. Thanks for the post, the mockery and the love,” she answered.

So far the new release is still struggling on her official Avril Youtube channel with very few views –
