Wednesday, July 19, 2023 –Azimio-allied members have captured images of suspected killer cops wearing civilian clothes in Mathare Area.

In their social updates on Wednesday July 19 afternoon, they shared photos of Subaru cars combing through Mathare and along Mombasa Road.

They would also share two photos of one cop pretending to be a journalist only to turn out to be unmarked cop who would be seen pouncing on demonstrators in Mathare Area.

“Beware of those Probox vehicles running up and down near you. They are carrying goons who were being issued with a K and a machete yesterday,” Etale announced.

Narc-Kenya’s Martha Karua would share another photo of a man who is wielding a gun and reportedly killing any Azimio protester in Mathare. The said man looks like of Somali origin.

“Killer squad I suppose,” she captioned.

From evening data collected by various media houses led by Citizen Tv, it was established that 1 person died in Makueni as one was injured, 5 people injured in Nakuru, 4 of them nursing gunshot wounds as 2 persons were shot and injured in Mathare slums, Nairobi.

“This illegitimate regime is targeting innocent children; using live bullets. Totally unwarranted, unjustifiable and uncalled for. This happened in Mashimoni-Kibra today.

“Master Lovick Anyodi Ndaregwa is currently admitted for medical treatment at Mbagathi District Hospital. We are following up on his treatment,” Azimio coalition leader Odinga stated.

Mr.Odinga also asked the police to start freeing anyone they had arrested in Azimio camp as second day of similar protests beckons.
