Monday, June 24, 2024 –Embakasi East Member of Parliament MP Babu Owino has asked gen Zs to invade the Parliament tomorrow on Tuesday during their protests.
Taking to his social media platform son Monday June 24, the controversial lawmaker promised the protesters enough support and offered to be available personally to open wide the Parliament’s gates for them.
He also noted that he will share a cup of tea with them inside Parliament canteen before having a brief address to the gathering.
“Kenyans come to Parliament I will be there to open for you the Parliament gate.
“You are welcome and I will personally open for you the gates so that to join us for breakfast tea,” he added.

President William Ruto, yesterday while speaking in Nyahururu, said it was not wrong for the young men to come out to defend their rights from the streets.
He, however, reminded them that it is crucial to keep peace while conducting protests; this being a Constitutional requirement for all those picketing against anything.
Ruto also promised the Gen Zs that he will have a sit down with them to agree on the way forward concerning their grievances.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki on Monday explained that all protestors must adhere to the laid-out rules during the anti-finance bill protests.
While speaking during a press briefing, Prof Kindiki emphasised that no protestor will be allowed to vandalise or destroy any property whether public or private.
