Wednesday, June 28, 2023 –Embakasi East lawmaker Babu Owino and his Mumias East counterpart MP Peter Kalerwa Salasya have settled their differences.
The two youthful leaders were brought together by Roots Party leader Prof George Luchiri Wajackoyah and DAP-Kenya Party boss Eugene Wamalwa.
The four leaders converged at a Nairobi Hotel where they solved out their political and social differences.
Peter Salasya was the first to update his constituents that, in their Wednesday June 28 meeting, they had been advised to stop public attacks at each other.
He also took a swipe at Lawyer Miguna Miguna who, of late, has been linking several student death cases to MP Owino.
“Team Azimio we are more united than before. Any attack to hon Babu Owino the Governor in making Nairobi by former Aspirant of Nairobi gubernatorial seat Miguna Miguna is an insult to Nairobi people.
“Miguna once called me a classified idiot stop.. attacking youthful leaders,” Salasya warned.
Of recent, MPs Salasya and Babu Owino have been at each other’s neck over unknown reasons. The two leaders, through name calling, have been threatening to stop each other, politically.
