Tuesday, January 18, 2022 –Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party presidential aspirant Jimi Wanjigi has broken his silence moments after his home was raided by men believed to be from the DCI.

Addressing members of the 4^th Estate on Tuesday January 18 early morning, Mr. Wanjigi described that raid as political and State-sponsored.

In his own narration, the police forcefully gained an access into his compound fully cladded in protective gears ready to turn his home upside down.

The tycoon went on to state that he tried to persuade them to wait for his lawyers to arrive but they pressed him to record a statement.

“In the evening at around 9.30 we were told that CID are at the gate. They were asked what they want and they said they just want me. They were asked whether they can see a lawyer and they said No,” claimed Wanjigi.

They would then take over his home by surrounding it fully armed with loaded riffles sending his entire family into total panic for long hours.

“They got in, opened the gate and surrounded the compound. They were disguised from head to toe and were carrying assault rifles. They were telling two of my lawyers who had arrived that they want me to go to CID to write a statement. We don’t know a statement for what,” the mogul added.
