Monday, September 6, 2021 -City blogger Edgar Obare’s life is in great danger after hs brother was afew days ago kidnapped by people believed to be rogue DCI agents.
Taking to his new Instagram account on Sunday Sept 5, Mr. Obare said he is now fearing for his family because they are now under target of the fake money fraudsters who he recently exposed.
“Saturday night I was informed that they kidnapped and tortured my brother. They were more less just to get information about my whereabouts. It’s one of the scariest things…I am so sad that he had to go through that and some people in this country would go so low that now they are after my family,” said Obare.
His explanation points at suspected rogue DCI agents working in cahoots with the wash wash guys around Nairobi and who now want to make sure his entire family suffers the retaliation.
They took his brother at the Airport when he went to pick for him his parcel befoer they dissappeared with him to unknown place where they tortured him for hours.
“The package was at customs and they wanted me to pay some duties. He gets there and he is told to wait. They then tell him they can’t release the package because there is a payment that must be made and so my brother had to come back on a different day,” he added.
Obare is now calling upon relevant State bodies to offer his family enough protection before the worst happens.
