Sunday, August 29, 2021 -Respected city investigative blogger Edgar Obare has called upon State authorities to offer him protection after he unearthed fake currency cartels around Nairobi.
In a fresh post he made on Saturday August 28 evening, Blogger Obare indicated that the mercenaries had started threatening him after he listed them with evidence to prove that they are notorious ‘wash wash’ dealers based in Kilimani.
“I need security guys. Being courageous isn’t always easy, and there are times in our lives when we have more courage than others, ” he tweeted.

In the Saturday expose’, the blogger mentioned top celebrities who included comedian Jalang’o, Prezzo, Babu Owino, Chris Obure, Shaffie Weru and the slain Kelvin Omwenga who was shot dead by an angry friend in a deal gone sour.
In the chilling expose’, Edgar found out that the named individuals are involved in fake money circulation and con innocent business people with a promise to double their fortunes.
They are also protected by rogue government officials who share the loot and survive on silencing their perceived threat.
The ‘Wash Wash’ business in the country has also been linked to the current slow economic growth, poverty and unnecessary increment in prices of basic items in the country.
