Monday, April 29, 2024 –Renowned Kenyan blogger has today blocked Mike Mbuvi Sonko; citing infringement of copyrighted material.
Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi known for busting senior officials in both corporate and government departments, today Monday April 29, revealed that Mr. Sonko had developed a sinister culture of gleaning articles, photos and images from his popular social media handles and sharing them with followers as his own.
According to an official statement seen by Kenyawide.com today afternoon, Nyakundi said he had finally made a decision to block Sonko so that to slow his behavior of stealing his content and posturing them as his original work.
“I had to block Sonko. Stealing everything from me,” wrote Nyakundi.
Mr. Sonko is a former Kenyan politician who has turned into daylong blogging and he likes sharing hard news with his supporters on Twitter turned X platform and Facebook.
He is currently actively participating is sharing news on the ongoing floods around the country; what Nyakundi has now claimed is theft of his content.
Mike Sonko is yet to comment on the claims made by blogger Nyakundi who sources his news videos, stories and images from his diehard sources around the country whom he has served for years.
Currently, Nyakundi has over 750 X followers and close to 400k fans on Facebook platform. On the other hand, Sonko boasts of over 2.7 million followers on Twitter alone having been a national politician for ten years.
He describes himself on his profile as a politician, businessman and philanthropist.
