Bomet Governor Donates Campaign Prado to Poor Female Politician

Thursday, April 21, 2022 –Linet Chepkorir ‘Toto” today received a new Toyota Prado car to help boost her campaigns.

Ms Chepkorir, 24, continues to inch closer to becoming the next Bomet County Woman Representative even as everybody else remains stunned with her fast rising star.

And today, Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok has fulfilled his pledge to gift the youngest and poor politician with a Prado. Toto who will be vying for the women representative post Bomet County today received the brand new car to help her in her win the woman rep seat.

Governor Barchok will also fully sponsor her thanksgiving event to be held on Sunday at her home in Kapsimbiri Village.

Ms Linet ‘Toto’ Chepkorir is, by and large, the youngest aspirant of any political seat in the whole of Bomet County.

The youngster in both politics and age now has one foot in the door, considering the fact that Bomet is a largely UDA zone.

“For a long time, women and youth have been condemned when seeking elective positions across the country. It is a narrative we are seeking to turn around and enable all of us – the rich and the poor – to compete on an even playground based on ideas and manifestos,” she so aptly told the Nation newspaper during a past interview.

Linet’s rise to stardom fast came to play when her concerns were made public through the media following her mistreatment at DP William Ruto’s Karen home where she was denied access.
