Friday, March 24, 2023 –The death of popular Bungoma content creator Joseph Kubende Wekhomba continued eliciting mixed reactions since it was confirmed yesterday.

Kubende died on Thursday, March 23 after falling from a building in Roysambu Constituency, Nairobi County.

Reports from the area established that the artist fell under mysterious circumstances from the fourth floor of an apartment before he was spotted helpless on the ground by residents.

They would embark on saving him by rushing him to a nearby hospital in Pangani where he shortly succumbed to the injuries both external and internal.

His death came shortly after he had just celebrated his birthday four days earlier on March 19 noting.

“Happy birthday to me, and may my guardian saint, Joseph the worker, protect me and guide me through this turbulent of life,” he wrote.

He was known for his role in mobilising masses for Bungoma County politicians and was also a popular poet, singer, motivational speaker, as well as writer.
