Friday, December 8, 2023 –Court of Appeal has upheld the High Court verdict on the illegality concerning the positions of Chief Administration Secretaries CASs in President William Ruto’s government.
In its ruling from Nairobi today Friday December 8, the Appellate court delivered that it was difficult for the petitioners to prove that the lives of over 45 million Kenyans belongs or can belong in the hands of the 50 CASs appointed by the head of State.
The judgs also said that the petitioners could not ascertain how the country could be affected by their presence or absence through their appointments.
Constitutionally, there was also supposed to be sufficient public participation so that every Kenyan can understand their role in the Cabinet.
