Saturday, May 25, 2024 –President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, has shared her excitement following a successful tour by her family in the United States.
President William Ruto, wife Rachel Ruto and part of their daughters were in the United States of America U.S.A in what was described as an official State visit that lasted five days.
And on the departure day today Saturday May 25, first daughter Charlene openly showed her excitement saying she was proud of her family and how it was hosted by the powerful United States of America’s commander-in-chief.
“Extremely proud of my family! This one is for the history book,” Charlene shared her feeling today Saturday May 25.
On his part, President William Ruto thanked the people of the United States of America U.S.A saying, together, they will make the world a better place for everyone.
“Thank you, President Joe Biden and wife Jill, and the people of the United States of America. Together, we will make the world a better place for all. Departing at the Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, USA,” Ruto wrote.
President Ruto also added that, together, Africa as a region will be made not only a safer place to live but also economically viable.
“It is our collective responsibility to keep Kenya, the region and Africa safe. That is why we must work together with our allies, including the U.S., to confront criminals and terrorists who deter our economic growth and prosperity. Engaged the U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, The Pentagon, Virginia,” added Kenya’s commander-in-chief.
Biden, through the White house post, described the visit by the Kenyan delegation as a celebration of 60 years of partnership between the United States and Kenya.
“The world is safer and stronger when Kenya and the United States work together. Committed to each other and committed to our people,” President Biden shared a statement.
He added that the two nations are working to deliver on the challenges that matter most to the peoples’ lives. These challenges include climate change, trade and investment, health, and global security.
