Chebukati moves to hire Chris Msando’s replacement

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has finally announced vacancy for Chris Msando’s replacement.

News reaching Homenews.co.ke indicate that the Wafula Chebukati led commission is gearing towards both a referendum and the next general election, and in that regard, wants to have someone take Msando’s ICT job.

It should not be lost that Msando was murdered weeks to 2017 general elections and in his place took Mr. Muhati who steered the body through the hot elections before he was moved to Huduma Center where he is currently serving. Chris Msando’s post again fell and remained vacant until today.

And in a move to have the position filled, IEBC has asked those who feel they are qualified to send their applications with the subject matter ‘ICT Manager’.

The successful applicant, according to the announcement, will work under Directorate of Information and Communication Technology at their Anniversary Towers Headquarters Nairobi. He will be hired on a permanent and pensionable basis.

Notable requirements in the announcement include having a degree in Information Communication Technology ICT or related field from a recognized school.

Secondly, one must have a Masters Degree in the same field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in ICT.

Former ICT Manager Msando’s mutilated body was discovered in a Kikuyu thicket on a Saturday of July 29^th 2019.

Fellow commissioner who resigned and took exile abroad due to security reasons Roselyne Akombe recently exposed afew colleagues she claims had a direct hand in the killing of Msando through a set up mission for election related issues.

His family has never found Justice upto today.
