Saturday, March 25, 2023 – Lawyer Donald Kipkoror has alluded weaknesses in the current office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation DCI.

In his Saturday March 25 post on his official socials, the city renowned lawyer cautioned DCI boss Amin Mohamed against being excited with the new office citing the many recent obvious errors his office has been making.

Korir, while discussing the series of images shared on the DCI Twitter handle on the economic terrorism by Azimio supporters following the Monday March 20 mass action, said, perhaps, the DCI office could be big for him(Amin) or he is just incompetent.

“When @DCI_Kenya deliberately publishes FALSE PHOTOS & INFORMATION, it ceases being a guardian of Law & Order. A Country’s survival is when its Police is faithful to the law & politically neutral. DCI Mohammed Amin is too excited. Maybe the office is too big for him,” he pointed out.

On Friday March 24, Kenyans and media at large exposed Directorate of Criminal Investigations DCI for misinforming the public on the ongoing Azimio mass action.

NTV on Friday March 24 unraveled the truth about the series of photos the DCI had shared in the morning purporting to incriminate some youth in the ongoing Azimio la Umoja protests.

While deconstructing blow-by-blow the post made by the top investigative organ in the country, NTV’s Brian Obuya established that most of the photos published and purported to be from Monday demos were not from Monday’s demonstrations. Worse, some were fetched from Ruanda’s genocide era while some from Congo skirmishes.
