Friday, June 16, 2023 –Former boxing champion Conjestina Achieng has officially started her security work at Mike Sonko’s place.

On Friday June 16 noon, the former boxing star was captured guarding Mike Sonko in a video that received so much love from social media users.

The female Conjestina who recently concluded her rehabilitation process at a Mombasa-based institution is a two-time African Champion and also former world title challenger.

Accompanying former Nairobi governor, Mike Sonko, to his office in Nairobi today Friday June 16, Conje as she is always referred to by her fans, looked sharper in her white official suit.

The Kenyan sports lady was pictured opening the car door for Sonko, suggesting that she was acting as his lead bodyguard from now henceforth.

Additionally, she was also spotted in the video carrying his briefcase, what is a typical role by lead bodyguards around the world.

Conjestina thanked the former Nairobi Governor for stepping in to help her recover from the mental distress at her Siaya Village home.

“I am very excited to start this new chapter in my life and grateful to Governor Sonko for giving me this opportunity. I will work hard to make him proud,” Conjestina stated on Thursday, June 15.

On the other hand, Sonko noted that he was confident that Ms Conjestina would be a valuable asset to his team of aides.

Generous Sonko appointed her as the head of security at Salama Bling Beach Resort, Kanamai, in Kilifi County where she will be based.

Conjestina has one son who also joined boxing in a Nairobi club.
