Thursday, January 4, 2023 – Court of Appeal has today extended orders allowing government to deduct the controversial housing levy from workers.

The Nairobi Appeal Court extended the levy of 1.5 percent to continue until January 26.

This verdict was delivered in the hearing of an appeal filed by the National Assembly and the Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang’ula.

The bench consisted of Justice Lydia Achode, John Mativo and Paul Gachoka.
