CS Matiang’i Flies to Zambia

Thursday, September 2, 2021 -Interior and National Co-ordination Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i has flown to Zambia for an official duty.

Details indicate that the CS touched down in Lusaka Zambia on Thursday morning of September 2. There to receive him were envoys from South African countries.

Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiang’i tarrives in Lusaka Zambia on Thursday.

Impeccable sources further divulged that President Uhuru Kenyatta had sent him to deliver a special message following the election of their new head of State Hakainde Hichilema.

“Kenya and Zambia enjoy a rich history of bilateral relations in trade and cooperation in strategic and mutual geopolitical interests.”

“Looking forward to delivering H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta’s special message to the newly elected President,” the CS stated on Twitter.

President Kenyatta will be building a strong working partnership with the South African nations led by the newly elected president of Zambia Hichilema.

Hichilema was recently(August 24) sworn into office in an inauguration ceremony attended by both President Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga.

Raila attended in his capacity as a seasoned opposition leader from Africa.
