Tuesday, November 1, 2022 –Son to Nigerian music star Davido born David Adedeji has died.
The 4-year-old bubbly boy fathered by the star was confirmed to have died in a pool accident on Tuesday November 1 afternoon.
The little Ifeanyi Adeleke is said to have drowned while in a swimming pool at his parents’ palatial home in Lagos – Capital City of Nigeria.
Confirming the tragedy, Nigerian Police spokesperson Benjamin Hudeyin revealed that domestic staff members at Davido’s residence called police on Monday at around 21:00 GMT (00:00 local time) seeking assistance after the death of the boy.
But all the eight staff at Davido’s home have since been invited for grilling by police over the tragic incident that caught the parents unawares.
Before his death, Davido’s son was healthy, happy and looked playful all through including a day before the tragedy.
Singer Davido is famed for the songs Hayya Hayya, Electricity, Jowo among many other works which he collaborated with other great artistes including Tanzanian’s Diamond Platinumz.
