Monday, October 21, 2024 –Ousted Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been summoned by office of the DCI to appear on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 regarding his claims of two poisoning attempts against his life.
Mr. Gachagua, while addressing members of the media outside Karen Hospital, claimed that he escaped two sad instances of poisoning from Statehouse operatives.
The embattled econd in command made the remarks while flanked by wife Dorcas Gachagua, sons and other friends and relatives.
In addition, he accused the State led by his boss William Ruto of forcing bad policies like the Finance Bill 2024 and Housing levy to the poor Kenyans against their wishes.
He argued that these among many other issues had made President Ruto and close allies at the Statehouse to wage an impeachment war against him.
