Saturday, October 21, 2023 –It has emerged that the Pwani University girl who was stabbed to die by herself, was robbed her mobile phone.

The first-year student Faith Adongo was accosted and ambushed by knife-wielding gang while on her way home just four day after joining the school.

Faith who met her death in an ugly way was attacked by the robbers on Friday October 20 and died struggling to breath.

Authorities confirmed the incident saying it took place along Misifuni Road, when the robbers took way her phone, leaving her to bleed to death from the wounds inflicted on her neck.

Though emergency service providers who rushed at the scene tried to save her life by rushing her to Mephi Hospital, it was a case of too late too little.

The situation turned worse in the hands of the first aiders and medics who then transferred her to Kilifi County Hospital.

“Good evening, comrades. Following the proceedings of the stabbed comrades. We are appealing to anyone with blood group A+ to reach the Kilifi District emergency wing so that we can save her life,” students led by their Student association leader, Nashon Okoth decried.

She would then die at around 10PM with a confirmation done by Dr Allois Luvai who said the first year succumbed to fatal injuries.

Her lifeless body has since been taken by the police to Pwani Morgue awaiting a postmortem.
