Thursday, October 28, 2021 –Opposition leader Raila Odinga yesterday flew out to Dubai for other businesses in his capacity as the Special Envoy African Union AU.
Through a statement seen by Homenews.co.ke on Wednesday October 27 evening, Odinga’s longtime Spokesperson Dennis Onyango disclosed that their boss had left to the United Arab Emirates UAE and will be engaged in his roles as the Infrastructure envoy for Africa.
Mr. Odinga will attend a conference that will bring together high level officials and Ministers in Infrastructure, Energy, Transport, ICT and Water Sectors as well as Private Sectors.
“He will upraise the conference on second phase of the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA PAP2) being implemented from 2021-2030,” read an excerpt of the statement.
The former premier will also have an opportunity to address on the effective service delivery of Infrastructure in African continent.
The opposition leader who was accompanied by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed will be back next week.
