Monday, September 30, 2024 –Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s wife Pastor Dorcas Gachagua has waded into the political woes of her husband.
Addressing congregants at Maximum Miracle Center on Sunday September 29, Dorcas said it is not going to be possible to eject out her husband Mr. Gachagua because his belief in God is cemented.
‘’One who was prayed for on the altar can only be removed by the same altar. Tell them to fear not, the Lord God Almighty, the Lord of vengeance will fight for you,’’ Dorcas added.
She noted that the main reason some people are uncomfortable working with the DP is because he is a righteous man and whom some individuals cannot fathom his position in government.
She noted that some sections are yet to believe that Gachagua is the elected deputy president of the Republic of Kenya.
“Many of you call him the real G, others call him the truthful man. He is the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya where many people have a problem believing that yet he was sworn in. He was prayed for on the altar,’’ Dorcas stated.
Dorcas urged DP Gachagua to push on with his work of serving the nation and avoid any destruction.
In the ruling Party, Gachagua has been blamed for advancing non-issues that have threatened to crack the party and the entire country along tribal line.
Additionally, he is accused of promoting ethnic politics at the expense of serving the nation as the Deputy President to William Ruto.
Interestingly, speaking on K24 Tv today Monday morning, the second-in-command admitted pushing for a larger stake in government because his region voted Ruto in large numbers.
