Saturday, February 10, 2024 –Aden Duale brother Abdi Bare Duale has landed a plum State role in the Ministry of Roads and Transport.
Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, elevated Bare to the State position through a formal Gazette Notice of Friday February 9, 2024.
The Defence CS Aden Duale’s brother, Abdi Bare Duale, will now be the chair at the Kenya Railways Corporation board KRC.
“In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(a) of the Kenya Railway Corporation Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport appoints Abdi Bare Duale to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Railways Corporation, for three (3) years, with effect from February 9, 2024,” the notice read in part.
This happened as President William Ruto revoked Bare’s appointment as Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (Ketraco) board chair, a year after he received the appointment.
