Wednesday, October 25, 2023K24 Tv news anchor-cum-reporter Jeff Khaemba has passed on.

Khaemba who has been an instrumental journalist at the Media Max-owned station in Nairobi died today Tuesday October 24.
Details about his death, upto now, still remain scanty even as colleagues and friends continue to pour out their heartfelt condolences.

For instance, Citizen Tv news anchor Abdikadir Mohamed mourned the late as dedicated friend with whom they worked together during the field assignments for their various media houses.

“Omwami, you made me shed tears. I’m broken beyond imagination Papaa. Forever in my heart Omwami. Forever,” he mourned in a statement seen by Homenews.Co.ke today.

A source close to the family whispered to media outlets that he has been battling a sugar-related ailment and which rose higher on Monday forcing family members to rush him to a nearby clinic and later at the Kenyatta National Hospital KNH.

Khaemba moved to Nairobi Ebru headquarters after his service in Kakamega County where he worked for various stations for years.
The late journalist is a product of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology MMUST in Kakamega.

The MNUST alumnus began his journalism career as a volunteer at Mambo FM in 2012 before joining the university radio station (MMUST FM) in 2013 as a reporter.

In 2015, Khaemba joined Magharibi Tv as a reporter before crossing over to a new station.

He loved covering politicians and political news in most of his newsroom assignments.
