Businessman Elias Mutugi Njeru who is the main suspect in the attempted murder of Florence Wanjiku Gichohi freed on a Ksh 200,000 cash bail.
This is after pleading not guilty in Court. Njeru is accused of stabbing Florence 18 times at their home in Kiamunyi Rongai Sub-County.
His lawyer Gakuhi Chege maintains that Njeru is innocent. Mutugi turned himself in at the Police Station earlier yesterday with his lawyer after going missing since Thursday night’s incident.
The case will be mentioned on December 9th.
