Errant Trump to be impeached for incitement of insurrection

Saturday, January 9, 2021 -President Donald Trump’s political life continues to hang in the balance as new efforts to punish him over his actions emerge.

The outgoing US President is expected to face an impeachment which is scheduled to kickoff on Monday January 11, 2021. This would be the second impeachment in his life.

Political sites reported how the impeachment draft had been prepared for tabling and whose contents centered on the ugly scenes which were witnessed at Capitol Hill when the Congress wanted to certify election results and Biden’s victory.

There was chaos around the building which resulted into a lot of destruction and, in the process, persons shot dead as some sustained injuries.

Trump supporters who were following his ‘false hope tweets’ went overboard to implement what their master was preaching on social media. This therefore makes one of the main basis for his removal from office so that in future, he will never repeat such just incase he got back to power.

According to the draft papers, Trump is accused of showing signs of dictatorship what amounts to a threat to the security of the country.

He may also be charged in court if prosecutors decided to face him on criminal charges basis for inciting violence among citizens.

In fact, Politicususa.com noted that European allies believed the Capitol Hill riot was not portentous and that Trump’s main aim was to attempt a coup which, unfortunately, did not go far.

All these, Trump may leave office in even more disgrace state than he came four years ago.
