Thursday, October 19, 2023 -Director General Communication Authority CA Ezra Chiloba has resigned.
Making the confirmarion today Thursday October 19, Communication Authority CA board noted that Mr. Chiloba had made a decision to quit office and that, as a board, they had accepted his request.
In the statement seen by Homenews.Co.ke, CA board stated that members had received and accepted his resignation letter, even as the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission EACC intensifies investigations following the fraud allegations leveled against him.
“On behalf of the Authority, I wish the outgoing Director General success in his future endeavours and appreciate his invaluable contribution to the organization and the wider ICT sector,” said the CA Board Chairperson Mary Wambui.
Chiloba is accused of presiding over questionable multimillion mortgage transactions during his tenure at the Communication Authority headquarters.
Communication Authority CA located along Waiyaki Way in Nairobi is a State agency mandated with regulating media industry in the country.
