Thursday, March 9, 2023 –Former Kieni Member of Parliament Kanini Kega was today Thursday March 9 spotted wearing United Democratic Alliance UDA Party cap during their Kenya Kwanza event.

This happened shortly after he had been ejected out of ‘a democracy meeting’ that his Jubilee Party secretary general rival, Jeremiah Kioni, was also present.

“Excitement as I visit UDA, KANU, DP, KUP, Jubilee political Parties Booths at the ongoing dialogue meeting in Nairobi today. Kumbe napendwa!” he stated.

Newly-appointed UDA Party Secretary General, Cleophas Malala, among other politicians would be seen close to Kega whom they were apparently welcoming to their party, officially.

“This evening, I held a consultative meeting with the Youth leadership from UDA and sections of other parties within the Kenya Kwanza umbrella to discuss matters “Youth involvement in the country’s Political Process,” Malala updated.

Also present in the event was former West Pokot Governor, Prof. John Krop Lonyang’apuo where they talked about “Over 100 Days of Power and Service; sweet or Bitter to Hustlers?”

Despite all the images circulating online, none of those present talked about Kega’s officially joining UDA Party.

Mr. Kega is currently a Member of Assembly East African Legislative Assembly EALA based in Arusha Tanzania.
