Friday, August 26, 2022 –The viral Land Rover was used by new Governor Nakuru County, Susan Kihika, when she was going for her inauguration ceremony held on Thursday.
The GVN032A car worth sh 10 million went viral on Thursday August 25 with all major social media platforms awash; as Kenyans continued wondering which county was it from.
Journalists have since dug deep to find some details about the car and it has been found that the vehicle was not more than two weeks old and was used by Governor Kihika to travel to her taking-over ceremony organised at Nakuru ASK Showground.
The state-of-the-art British machine which is mostly owned by royal families in Britain and some parts of America belongs to Nakuru County Government.
After her swearing in event, she was also seen driving in the four-wheeler back to her new offices within Nakuru Town where she conducted her first ever inspection tour. She was accompanied by her family members among them her mother Alice Kihika, her husband Sam Mburu and security detail.
Ms Kihika, former Nakuru Senator, was among the 45 county governors who took their official oath of office across the country.
Kakamega and Mombasa residents are yet to elect their new bosses.
