Friday, October 7, 2022 –The fake GSU police officer who chased clout using Eve Mungai’s brand name has been finally arrested.

As a painful learning lesson to people with such plans, Mungai’s lawyer today Friday October 7 reported that, with the help of the Director of Criminal Investigations DCI officers, the culprit had finally been apprehended from his hideout.

“Today morning we reported at Kileleshewa Police with my client. We have had a certain video clip circulating for three days. The video has serious extreme defamatory statements meant to destroy my client’s brand built over the years.

“The accused, Mwendwa Mailu, is facing charges of police impersonation and publication of unprintable words together with publication of a video he claims he had a relationship with my client Eve as well as saying he had funded her first video projects,” the lawyer stated in an address to the media.

This arrest is coming just a day after the YouTube content creator Mungai had fired warnings at imposters and those spreading falsehoods concerning her brand and career.

In a comprehensive statement released on Wednesday this week, the content creator responded to a viral video posted by a man identified as CP Karao who claimed to have contributed to building Mungai’s name in the creative industry.

In response, Eve noted how she has been a target of malicious misinformation from a number of such characters, which she confirmed has been detrimental to her brand name and promised to use all legal means to bring this to a stop.
