Four persons masquerading as job agents have been arrested scamming residents of Eldoret thousands of their money in the guise of helping them secure well-paying jobs in United Emirates, Dubai.
In the four arrested, among them was a woman of Arab origin and three men who are suspected to be behind a network of fake recruitment drive that has been targeting more than 2000 jobseekers in the area.
The suspects were nabbed on Monday in Eldoret Town of Uasin Gishu County.
The police confirmed flushing out the group while it was busy recruiting more persons.
